Sequoia High School Gymnasium
Redwood City, California
Redwood City based General Contractor, W.L. Butler is moving the construction of the new Sequoia High School gymnasium forward at a rapid clip. With its highly visible location on the south side of the historic Sequoia High School Campus, this Cody Anderson Wasney designed project is destined to become a Redwood City landmark. The new gymnasium, designed to seat the entire 1400 person student body, has been designed to achieve USGBC LEED Gold status.
Rooftop photovoltaics will generate 53% of the building’s peak energy consumption; the central skylight monitor will provide 70% of the daytime lighting requirements.
