Concrete Mid-Rise Projects
Hohbach-Lewin’s knowledge of mid-rise concrete construction is unparalleled. By utilizing three-dimensional finite-element modelling, thinner concrete floor slab profiles are achieved. These more streamlined slabs are reinforced with both mild- and high-strength post-tensioned steel reinforcing. The thinner profiles we achieve reduce the overall building height and weight, creating lower seismic and foundation demands. This leads to construction cost savings. Typically, specially reinforced concrete shear walls are the main vertical lateral force resisting system.
