Dan Lewin, S.E., received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 1981. His 30-plus years of experience in the building design industry encompass a diverse range of project types including large multi-unit mixed use residential developments, concrete post-tensioned podium and parking structures, private and public educational K-12 facilities, university facilities, hospitals, corporate office complexes, and retail centers.
Dan is a value engineering specialist and is a LEED accredited design engineer. He has been on the forefront of Hohbach-Lewin’s on-going efforts to promote sustainable building design methodology throughout the building industry.
Mr. Lewin has authored seismic design criteria for multiple school districts and universities, has provided peer review services, and has overseen seismic design programs which have employed multiple independent design firms.
