Nut Tree Retail Center, Vacaville, CA

Nut Tree

This 325,000 square foot retail and office "power center" sits on 30 acres where the renowned Nut Tree road stop previously stood. Building construction types consist of concrete tilt-up panels, steel moment frames and wood frames and wood framed shearwall structures. Due to the demanding schedule and scale of this project, Hohbach-Lewin worked closely with the owner, architect and general contractor from groundbreaking in September 2005 to ensure completion of the project by Fall of 2006. Charleston Plaza, Mountain View, CA

This new, 130,000 square foot center in Mountain View, includes a new Best Buy, REI and Bed Bath & Beyond as its major tenants. Working closely with the architects and the owner/contractor, Hohbach-Lewin completed an efficient and cost effective design in three months. The Total construction coast was $30M. Pacific Commons Regional Retail Center, Fremont, CA

Pacific Commons

Hohbach-Lewin completed the design for this new 400,000 square foot "super fast-track" retail center in under three months from preliminary concept to permit. Construction began in February so that the entire center could be open for business by Thanksgiving of 2005. Maintaining this compressed schedule required multiple phased packages and close co-ordination with the general contractor throughout the entire process. The construction cost was $65M.



Plaza San Jose, San Jose, CA

Plaza San Jose

Blake Hunt Development Company working with the City of San Jose Redevelopment Agency comissioned a San Francisco architect to design this new 185,000 square foot retail center. The project opened mid-year 2005. Lateral force resisting systems consists of Steel Moment Resisting Frames acting in conjunction with masonry and wood framed shear walls. Blue Oaks Town Center, Roseville, CA

Blue Oaks Town Center

This new 300,000 Square foot 8 building complex included a 65' tall signature entry tower. Lateral force resisting system included CMU walls and metal stud shear walls. The construction cost was approximately $50M. Blue Oaks Town Center



The Plant, San Jose, CA

The Plant

This new 600,000 square foot 26 building complex in San Jose includes a new Target and Home Depot. Working closely with the developer, Westrust, and the general contractor, Turner Construction, Hohbach-Lewin completed a cost effective design in 6 months. The construction cost was $140M.
